Welcome to Pearls & Treasures Trust
Pearls & Treasures Trust is an organization that seeks to address sexuality issues in the society. We reach out to women of all ages and from all walks of life with the message of Purity, Healing and Restoration. Though our core ministry is towards women we have forums that cater for men.
Do you know how a Pearl is made?
As the name suggests PEARLS’ vision stems from one of life’s most beautiful and costly objects that is born out of pain and irritation. When sand seeps into an oyster shell and begins to rub against the soft tissue, causing an irritation. In response to the irritation the oyster produces a hard substance. This substance eventually develops into one of the world’s most beautiful jewels – a lovely luminous pearl. Just like an ugly oyster shell is an unlikely place to find a lovely gem, so do most of these ladies feel about themselves.
We seek to reach out to their deep self-esteem and identity needs making them realize that they are beautiful, valuable and costly pearls that are treasured by God; and that they have treasures within that they need to give to the world despite their painful pasts. We introduce them to Christ’s perfect love where they can find healing for their broken hearts, emotional wounds and find their true identity in Christ. The subject message therefore is very clear, that:
- God makes no mistakes
- One can rise up from their painful pasts and shameful experiences
- Every life is planned by God and is precious to God
Though Pearls’ is founded on Christian values and morals and has its authority from the Bible, it does not discriminate women from other faiths or whose convictions are different. This is because we believe that every woman’s heart beats the same, every woman’s pain is real and every woman though may have gone through an irritation in her life, she is a Pearl in the making. We only ask that they respect our convictions as they let us help them out of their pain.
The Spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, and oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. Isaiah 61:1-3
